Yogyakarta is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia because of its beautiful natural scenery, interesting attractions, and rich cultural atmosphere. During the fifth-semester holiday, the writer had the opportunity to visit Yogyakarta with friends from an organization at Airlangga University. The trip became a memorable experience because the writer and friends were able to visit several famous places and enjoy many fun activities together in just one day. The day started at Parangtritis Beach in the morning. The cool air and warm sunlight created a comfortable atmosphere for enjoying the beach. The writer and friends spent time playing in water, walking along the wide sandy shoreline and taking photos and videos to capture the moment. The sound of the waves and the gentle sea breeze made the place feel peaceful and refreshing. The beautiful coastal scenery also provided many great spots for photography. For people who enjoy nature and outdoor activities, Parangtritis Beach is a destination that should not be missed.
After spending the morning at the beach, the group continued their trip to HeHa Sky View in the afternoon. Located in a hilly area, this attraction offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. There are many rides and activities available, but the haunted house was the most exciting experience for the writer. Although it was a little scary at first, the experience became very enjoyable because everyone laughed and screamed together. Besides trying the rides, the writer also explored different areas of HeHa Sky View, which are known for their beautiful green scenery and attractive photo spots. The fresh air, scenic views, and variety of entertainment made this place perfect for relaxing with family or friends.
In the late afternoon and evening, the writer and friends visited Malioboro, one of Yogyakarta’s most famous landmarks. The area became livelier as night approached. The writer walked along the street, visited souvenir shops, enjoyed local snacks, and observed the busy atmosphere of the city. The street lights, live music performance, and large number of visitors created a warm and pleasant environment. Walking around Malioboro gave the writer the chance to experience the unique charm of Yogyakarta more closely.
Overall this short trip created many unforgettable memories. Besides visiting several interesting tourist destinations, the writer also enjoyed spending quality time with friends from
the university organization. The beauty of Parangtritis Beach, the exciting attractions at HeHa Sky view, and the vibrant atmosphere of Maioboro make Yogyakarta an excellent destination for anyone who wants to experience nature, entertainment, and culture in one memorable journey.
