Many tourist destinations in East Java offer beautiful scenery, but only a few combine entertainment, education, and coastal views as well as Wisata Bahari Lamongan (WBL). Located in Paciran, Lamongan, this attraction has become one of the favorite holiday destinations for both local and out-of-town visitors. The giant crab-shaped gate at the entrance is one of its most recognizable landmarks and often becomes a popular photo spot for tourists.
Situated on the northern coast of Java, WBL offers direct views of the Java Sea. The cool sea breeze and relaxing atmosphere create a pleasant environment for spending time with family or friends. For many visitors, the coastal setting is one of the reasons why the place feels different from ordinary amusement parks.
One thing that makes WBL attractive is the large number of rides and activities available. Covering an area of around 17 hectares, the park features more than 40 attractions for visitors of different ages. Those who enjoy exciting experiences can try rides such as the Jet Coaster, Space Shuttle, and Drop Zone. Meanwhile, visitors who prefer water-based activities can spend time at the Waterboom, ride Bumper Boats, or enjoy a Banana Boat trip along the coast.
WBL is also connected to Maharani Zoo and Cave through a skybridge, allowing visitors to explore several attractions in one visit. The zoo occupies about 3.5 hectares and houses various animals, making it an enjoyable place for children to learn while having fun. Not far from the zoo, Goa Maharani presents a different kind of attraction. Inside the cave, visitors can see impressive stalactites and stalagmites that have formed naturally over millions of years.
After trying the rides and exploring the surrounding attractions, many visitors choose to spend some time at Tanjung Kodok Beach. Located within the WBL complex, the beach provides a quieter atmosphere where people can walk along the shore, enjoy the sea view, or simply relax while listening to the sound of the waves. The sunset scenery here is also worth seeing.
Visitors can choose between a regular WBL ticket and a combo package that includes Maharani Zoo and Cave. The combo ticket starts from Rp 115,000 on weekdays and Rp 145,000 on weekends and public holidays. Considering the variety of attractions available, the ticket price is quite reasonable.
WBL is open every day from 9 AM to 5 PM and can be reached from Surabaya in approximately one and a half hours via the north coast route. With its combination of thrilling rides, educational attractions, and beautiful coastal scenery, Wisata Bahari Lamongan remains a destination worth visiting for anyone looking for a fun day out in East Java.
